Budding Bathe

A bathe that will contribute to a budding ecosystem where birds will continue to flourish.

Over 74% of 1,469 species of birds are at risk of extinction, due to habitat loss through development, deforestation and climate change.

Birds are one of our key pollinators; without pollinators, humans and all of earth’s terrestrial ecosystems would not survive. Ultimately, our production of food and medicine utilise at least 5% of plants pollinated by birds. Pollinators support healthy ecosystems that clean the air, stabilise soils, protect from severe weather, and support other wildlife. Furthermore, birds allow plants to be brought back to ecosystems that have been destroyed, carrying plants across the sea to new land masses. Birds do so much for us, which is why it is our responsibility to to care of our feathered friends!

Benifits of a Bird Bath:

Bird baths are a great way to attract birds to your garden; allowing pest control, the pollination of plants and plants to be brought back to destroyed ecosystems.

Bird baths are also beneficial in removing dust, loose feathers, parasites and other debris from a bird’s plumage. Giving a place for drinking and preening, along somewhere to go to during droughts or cold winters.
